Our Story​

 

Snakebyte started with Christina Setliff.

​

Christina studied psychology and communications at Radford University, which became the foundation for how she approaches marketing today. Before entering the business world, she built her career in the music industry, becoming the face of Steez Promo in 2018 and later an ambassador at Echostage.

​

That exposure led her into video production, where she worked with a production company connected to major names like Echostage, Soundcheck, Live Nation, Moonrise Festival, Glow, and other large venues and events across the DC area.

From there, she transitioned into working with high-level clients across industries, including surgeons, med spas, doctors, stylists, restaurants, and nightlife brands.

Christina later joined Warner Bros., where she continued to refine her skills in production, editing, and high-level content execution. After having her contract extended multiple times due to performance, her time there eventually came to an end when the department closed.

​

That was the turning point.

Instead of going back into a traditional role, Christina decided to fully commit to building her own company. Within the first two months, she produced a video that went viral, and has consistently created viral content for clients ever since.

Building Snakebyte

 

Not long after, Christina met Danny at Echostage.

​

Danny studied graphic design at George Mason University and had been working on creative projects independently. After connecting, the two quickly realized their skill sets complemented each other.

Christina pushed Danny to stop chasing traditional job applications and take a risk. He joined her, and together they built Snakebyte Social into what it is today.

​

Now, they operate both Snakebyte Social and XtinaDC, while also expanding into new creative ventures, including Danny’s upcoming clothing brand.

We are based in the Washington, DC area and regularly work with clients throughout the DMV. We also travel frequently and love working with brands in new cities.
